Michaela got fair amount of playing time during her freshman season with Middlebury. Colbert is strong in understanding both the offensive and defensive aspects of the game and is expected to do big things within the Middlebury girls lacrosse program. Colbert was a 2009 leading scorer in the Eastern Independent league. Michaela was also captain of her lacrosse team and a letter winner all four years. She was also a senior soccer captain and four year letter winner. Michaela was an All American lacrosse player and made LNE's her sophomore and junior year. She was also a two year letter winner in swimming.
