2011 season highlights: Bunker, a two-year captain, is the first Colby player ever to earn three All-American honors and also is the first player in program history to make the first team after earning the honor in 2011. Bunker earned NESCAC First Team honors for  a third straight year and was also All-New England First Team. He played in both the USILA and the NEIBA senior all-star games. Ranked fourth in the country in face-off percentage (.714, 205-for-287) and had 123 groundballs to go along with one goal. Finished his career with a .659 face-off percentage (689-of-1045), 412 groundballs, seven goals, and eight assists in 61 games. 2010 season highlights: Craig, a captain, was the first player in program history to receive two All-American honors and the first to be named to one of the three teams by the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). Bunker, who was a NESCAC, NEILA and ECAC first-team selection, was named to the national third team after the 2010 season. He was first in the NESCAC and third nationally in face-off percentage (.724). Bunker also ranked first in the conference and 16th nationally in groundballs per game (7.56). He was second in the league in total groundballs (121) and second in total won face-offs (212). Bunker also had two goals and three assists. He heads into his senior year with 289 career groundballs and 484 won face-offs. 2009 season highlights: Bunker earned honorable mention All-American honors by USILA and also was on the All-NESCAC first team. He was first in the conference in groundballs per game (8.73) and face-off percentage (.645). Craig also was second in the conference in total groundballs (131) and third in total face-offs won (185). Bunker finished the season with four goals and five assists. 2008 season highlights: Craig took the majority of face-offs in his first year and had a .489 percentage. He also scooped up 37 groundballs.  At Colby:  Craig is pursuing a degree in Economics... CCAK... several activities with lacrosse program (Bench Press for Pulmonary Fibrosis, Run for Marines, Bike Ride for Waterville Library)... worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Sports Acceleration North during the summer.  Before Colby:  Played lacrosse, football, and ran indoor track at Masco... National Honor Society... Class President... captained all three teams, as well as earned All-League in all three sports. 

High School

 

Craig was All-League in track, lax, and football. Also Team MVP in lacrosse his senior year. He was in the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honors Society. Bunker was awarded Salem News Student Athlete of the Year nominee. He was a Scholar Athlete grades 9-12. Salem News All-star in football and lacrosse. Won the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship, Principals Leadership Scholarship Nominee, Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship Nominee. Bunker was also a Rochester Institute of Technology Medal Winner and Wendy’s High School Heisman Nominee. He was awarded Boston Globe North Player of the Week for football. In indoor track, Craig was All-League Hurdler, School Record in 55 Meter Relay Team, 3rd Place 2006 State Relays 55 Meter Dash Team. In lacrosse, Bunker was awarded Coach’s Award as a Sophomore, 2nd Team All-League as a Sophomore, 2nd Team All-League as a Junior, Monihan Lumber April 2006 Student Athlete of the Month.
